On March 13th kicks off Home is where your stereo plays’ seventh edition of HEIMSPIEL. At HEIMSPIEL # 7 Zürich based MoreEats will conquer the cozy stage at Alter Roter Löwe Rein and will receive support by Ariel Sharatt and Mathias Kom (The Burning Hell).
Somewhere in between Switzerland and Austria, there’s a tiny spot called Liechtenstein. The Principality of Liechtenstein is probably mostly known for its reputation as a bank- and tax-paradise. But there’s probably not much knowledge beyond this fact about the small alpine country. – Quite a good occasion for being a smart-ass next time.
MoreEats is the music project by a young man from Triesenberg (Liechtenstein) with the name Moritz – get it!? – Schädler. Via Zürich he recently moved to Berlin and got entangled in the Berlin Collective FourTrack. It’s been a productive time. He currently works on the recordings of his second album, which is somewhere in the scope of (Anti-)Folk and Disco-Soul.
Music made for a ghetto-blaster! These words could possibly describe MoreEats’ first record Big Cinema best. It has been released in 2014 via Indie-Label Tri Lingual – both digital and on good old tape. His music and especially his voice sound like a tribute to Jonathan Richman, Calvin Johnson (Beat Happening), Jens Lekman and Bill Callahan, just with an up-beat. In Do you really wanna go? – the last song – „Paaarty“ cranks through the speakers and the tape ends with a synthie-cowbell-staccato in Disco-Rap. Music made for a ghetto-blaster!
